Description:We received an urgent phone call from one of our partner shelters asking if we could take a badly wounded lab mix. This poor girl we named Lacy was a shocking sight with a very swollen face due to multiple wounds, stitches poking out from the deeper wounds, and punctures to her neck and sides. Unbelievably her tail wagged the entire time. She was a shelter favorite, especially of the vet who treated Lacy. She is now with a loving foster where she will continue being treated, and spayed when she is ready. Lacy has our promise that wonderful days for her lie ahead, where she will experience only kindness.
Lacy has been spayed and also has had any and all of her stitches removed. She is healing very rapidly. The hair and her whiskers are rapidly growing back in. She will soon be a beautiful young girl again. She is housebroken and is very good in the house. No chewing, trash diving, counter cruising, or barking. She is very good with the other dogs. She is not food aggressive or possessive of toys/beds. She is fine, when left alone for any period of time. And she is good on leash. She has become quite the talker. She gives out little whines, yelps, and licks when she wants attention. It is so cute. She is such a sweet, loving dog. She is also very smart, and learns new things very quickly. She will make someone or some family a great pet.
