Description: This sweet little queen bee is Cleopatra, she was found stray and taken to a scary shelter. She was made "rescue only" as she was falling over and we think she has a severe ear infection so she is being treated for that. If that does not clear her wobbles, she may need further treatment. Cleopatra is a super sweet cuddly love bug who would love a home of her very own.

Update! Sweet Cleo is settling in with her foster family and learning what it's like to have a home. Stay tuned for more updates as she gets to know her surroundings, gains some confidence, and gets her ears all healthy again!

Update 9/12/17: Cleo is a lover. She’s happiest when curled up next to her human and giving wet sloppy kisses. Cleo was picked up as a stray and is getting used to having a home. She likely had puppies while homeless and had to fend for herself and her babies at a very young age. She experienced some anxiety during the first few days with her foster that manifested itself with some overprotective behavior. Now that she can relax, the weight of the world is lifting off her shoulders. In just a few short days she has become playful, shares toys, and shares her human with other people and dogs. Cleo has the funniest prance when she gets excited that rivals any champion dressage horse! She still does not appreciate another dog trying to steal her food, but I think that’s fair, don’t you? She is now being taught her basic commands like sit, stay, and down. She’s fully house-trained and has not shown any destructive behavior (my shoe collection appreciates that!)

Her ear infection is clearing up nicely. She is still wobbly when turning corners and will be visiting the vet soon to determine the cause. She will be ready to be spayed and chipped in the next week or two. Stay tuned for more updates on Cleo- the world’s prettiest Velcro dog!
