|Description: Summer, an 8 yr old yellow girl found herself alone and afraid at the El Cajon shelter. At first she would not come to the front of her kennel, but when the staff brought her out, she emptied her bladder, so hopefully she is house trained. Summer was pretty attached to the staff, and it took a little while for her to warm up to me. Once she did, she let me hug and let her, put my hands in her mouth and relaxed. She was tested with a younger small dog that bounced in her face, and she was unphased. The staff said that when she's out in the yard area, she keeps looking for 'someone'.
Summer is a BIG girl, but got around just fine, has a fatty lipoma, and needs some TCL and reassurance that no one will leave her again. She is very pretty.
She walks well on a leash, gets along well with dogs and people she meets when walking. She is cat friendly.
