Description: Appollo was rescued from a shelter on 9/11 and named as a tribute to the 9/11 search and rescue dog Appollo. Shortly after arriving with Lab Rescuers he was diagnosed with a rare congenital heart condition called Cor Triatriatum Dexter. Appollo had surgery at UC Davis which was successful and should be fully curative. He also has a malformed lower heart valve which is managed by medication which costs less than $40/month.

Appollo is a happy active puppy who loves to play and loves car rides. He is great with children and other dogs and is ok with cats. He is a sweetheart and loves to snuggle with his foster parents. Appollo is ready for a forever home with a loving family that has time to spend with him and teach him all the fun things in life.

If you would like to meet Appollo, please visit the Adoption Info page to submit an application.
