Samson is a medium energy, handsome lab/german shepherd mix who loves people (especially his people), squeaky toys, cheese, and a little adventure. He loves to explore while hiking and will take you on every rabbit or squirrel trail he can find if you let him lead. He does not want to stop because he is having too much fun exploring. Because of his intensity to track, Samson will not be a good fit if there are small animals in the home. One of his favorite things to do is go. Somewhere. Anywhere. It doesn't matter since Samson just want to be wherever his people are. He loves to be copilot in the car and is always checking what is happening on the road with the driver. A family where someone is home more often would be ideal for Samson since his favorite part of the day is with his people. Sam is well behaved in the house and is always close by. He settles down well and spends much of his time looking out the window watching people/cars go by. Sam rarely barks unless he is concerned. While Samson is well behaved with the kids he encounters on walks, given his size and rambunctious moments, he would do best in a home without small children.
